SAKI sites and accepted applicants may use the link below to register to attend the 9th Annual National SAKI Grantees Meeting on October 28-30, 2024, in Denver, CO. Registration will close on October 11, 2024.

To apply for attendance at the 9th Annual National Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI) Grantees Meeting, please complete the following form by October 4, 2024.

The Annual National SAKI Grantees Meeting is an event for all Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) SAKI awardees to provide an opportunity for information sharing and deriving policies with their peers for sustainable, national change for an improved sexual assault response and other violent crime cold case response. This year, jurisdictions and agencies that are engaged in improving their response to sexual assault but are not current SAKI grantees are invited to send up to two individuals to attend this event. Space for non-SAKI attendees is limited and will be based on a rolling application process. The application should summarize jurisdiction or agency concerns regarding current sexual assault response policy and practice, any activities conducted to address those concerns, challenges faced while improving sexual assault response, and the expected benefits from attending this meeting. As SAKI encourages a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to sexual assault response and other violence crime cold cases, applicants may send representation from different disciplines. Letters of Approval for the potential attendees to attend this event must also be included.

Please note that travel expenses for selected attendees will not be covered for this event and must be assumed by the applying agency or jurisdiction.
