Trauma-Informed Communication: What to Expect When Interacting with Victims of Sexual Assault and Trauma

Printing information

Agencies and SAKI sites can easily download and print this 8.5” x 11” double-sided brochure from the SAKI website; the printed pamphlet will be folded in thirds. In the PDF, the three columns on the first page are—from left to right—the folded-in flap, the back of the pamphlet, and the front of the pamphlet. The columns on the second page will all appear on the inside of the pamphlet as the left, middle, and right columns.

We recommend high-quality printer paper so that the ink doesn’t bleed through both sides of the paper.

Complete the following steps in Adobe Acrobat to print copies of the pamphlet. Please note that these steps may vary slightly if you are printing from a browser window or a Mac.

  1. Click File from the top menu; select Print.
  2. Click the Actual Size radio button in the Page Sizing & Handling section.
  3. Mark the checkbox labeled “Print on both sides of paper.”
  4. Click the radio button labeled “Flip on short edge.” Note: In the Orientation section, the radio button labeled “Auto portrait/landscape” should already be selected. Do not change this setting.
  5. Click Print.
  6. Begin with the second page facing up. Fold the left side of the paper in so that the flap touches the center of the whitespace between the second and third columns; then crease the paper. Repeat this step for the inside flap, using the center of the whitespace between the first and second columns as a reference for where to crease the paper.
