Successful multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) build collaborative relationships that lead to better services for survivors, stronger cases, and higher rates of prosecution. Building a strong MDT requires members to overcome traditional disciplinary divides, understand each other’s roles, and appreciate what other disciplines bring to the table.
